El amor de Jaunt Julio y Beatrice Corazon Valiente (Official Video)

Taken from the debut album 'A Place Both Wonderful & Strange'. Available now on 2LP/CD/DL here: https://mwb-music.bandcamp.com Video by Mary Gouldsbrough: "The title of MWB's track is about the love between two people. Made in lockdown, like everyone, the need to want to escape was pressing. The only other person I saw for months; my partner. This is a tribute to all the forest and lakes we didn't go to that year, but one day will." MWB - A Place Both Wonderful & Strange (Official Video)

Taken from the debut album 'A Place both Wonderful & Strange'. Available now on 2LP/CD/DL here: https://mwb-music.bandcamp.com Video by Mary Gouldsbrough "'A Place both Wonderful and Strange' is the album's title track and for me the music evokes a sense of voyage; being propelled forward on a journey into the unknown. I needed to find a way to visually represent the feelings of movement, marvel and estrangement together into one video. I find an interesting contradiction here, in that the music is both transient and at the same time unsettling. I responded to this by making frenetic visuals that are never static but at times sustained. I began sketching out ideas by playing the footage back through an old T.V. which adds texture and evokes nostalgia and worked out the rest intuitively from there." "There’s no divide between what’s real and what’s imagined on this strange journey through roads, factories, forests, space and beyond. Both the music and the images elicit transportation and trajectory, there’s a liminal sense that you've really found yourself somewhere "in between". I started making these videos when the pandemic first hit in 2020. They were geared towards the eventual aim of a live screening. I planned that the videos would seamlessly flow, each song giving way to the next. The album begins in B1 with archive footage of a father and son driving through 1950's America. I like to imagine they kept driving off from the face of the universe and found themselves in the strange lands of B2." Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis (Official Video)

Taken from the debut album 'A Place Both Wonderful & Strange'. Available now on 2LP/CD/DL here: https://mwb-music.bandcamp.com Video by Mary Gouldsbrough & Luke Williams "“Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis” is a rare lung disease caused by inhaling silica. This track is about scale. How we tend to concern ourselves with the petty minutiae of everyday life but sometimes this gets brought into focus when something bigger stops us in our tracks. I sourced clips of natural/manmade disasters and layered them with archive footage of the everyday rat race to highlight this tension. My visual response to the song was to build “lucid dreamscapes” that at times feel uneasy in order to question how these priorities sit in our lives. This was a great collaborative effort between Luke Williams, who sourced all of the footage from one year; 1987, and Mary Gouldsbrough who edited it together to form the narrative and add the effects which add to the confusion and tension." Hands down the best party I've been to in years... The attention to detail, the special features, the love, effort, the eucalyptus wafting over the smoke machine....

Danke @powerplay.rave for a magic night under the clouds.

It was also a pleasure to go B2B live  with @ixianoptical and @cyberboy666

Sometimes VJing is lonely... but not in this crew.

SIX HOURS STRAIGHT VJING @ DISCOTHEK MELANCHOLIE II, BERLIN

You know when you’re VJing live in da club and you don’t have a pal to record your set, so you spend a few hours in your basement trying to record the best bits so you've got some evidence it happened.
